Friday Moment of Zen with Thought and Music: Bruce Lee and The Rolling Stones

Traveling, like life, has its ups and downs. Sometimes you miss trains, sometimes you don’t have enough time to see that one place you really wanted to, and other times you have to say goodbye to that girl you fell in love with for just a day. You live in a stasis of impermanence on the road, constantly a transient guest. So, with a little help from Bruce Lee and a little ambiance from The Rolling Stones maybe we can make sense, learn to deal, accept, and go on with the adventure.

“Like everyone else, you want to learn the way to win, but never to

accept the way to lose. To accept defeat—to learn to die—is to be

liberated from it. Once you accept, you are free to flow and harmonize.

Fluidity is the way to an empty mind. So when tomorrow comes, you must

free your ambitious mind and learn the art of dying.”

-Bruce Lee
