Summer Canadian Motorcycle Madness: My Adventures in the North!

This summer I got to do something I’ve long dreamed of doing. I rode my motorcycle around all of the Great Lakes in Canada and the USA. So many highlights; Lake Superior, Algoma Country, and Northwestern Ontario to name a few. I couldn’t have done it alone though, I had a lot of phenomenal people helping with my journey along the way and in no small part by Ontario Tourism; these guys are superstars.

Additionally, these guys provided we with some unbelievably awesome information in the form of websites that anyone can use. Since traveling is about sharing knowledge, if you are planning a motorcycle trip into Canada these my top four websites and are an absolute must to check out:

1.GoRideOntario.com

2.RideAlgoma.ca

3.RideNWO.com

4.RideLakeSuperior.com

Along my trip I wrote several articles that appeared on the websites NorthernOntario.travel and the well-known Motorcycle.com.

Without further ado, go check out my unreal adventure through Canada and around the Great Lakes in my articles at these links below!

Horace Greeley once said, “Go West, young man,” but I think you should head North instead.  As the winter chill is setting in and my bike is getting her final tune up, I’ll be re-reading these articles to keep my riding soul warm until spring.

Until next time, may your riding be excessive and your direction be North, as always I remain the Shameless Traveler.

I don’t think a lot of people realize how amazing it is up there. Everyone in the US always says go west to see nature, go west to so incredible forests and water, but man I tell people to go North now, it’s unreal what is up there.
